Abstract

Capacitive AC voltage divider, for example for a medium high voltage or for high voltage, comprising a series circuit with at least two capacitors C1, C2 of which one 2 serves as a measuring capacitor. The series circuit can be connected between a primary voltage and a reference voltage Vref., where a measurement signal is derived from the measurement capacitor as a secondary voltage. The measurement capacitor C2 is connected to an element S1, RL with variable impedance and control devices F2, D, BL are arranged which react to a DC voltage component in the secondary voltage with the aim of reducing the said impedance in the presence of the DC voltage component and of increasing the said impedance in the absence of the DC voltage component. <IMAGE>
