Abstract

Device for manufacturing an elongate means 15 by pressing together a fibre material with a binder added, such that a fraction of the total fibre material for the whole means 15 is introduced into a compression chamber with a compressing means, whereby the compressing means is activated to first impart upon the fraction a compression and displacement into a die 14, and subsequently return and be displaced from the compression chamber which can be filled again with a fraction of fibre material, whereas this new fraction as well is compressed and displaced by the compressing means. The die is designed with a number of wall portions 19, 20, 21, 22, and at least one of said portions has been imparted a movement relative to the means 15, said movement being directed in the longitudinal direction of the means 15. <IMAGE>
