Abstract

FIELD: methods and devices for desalination of mineralized water. SUBSTANCE: method for desalination of mineralized water consists in evaporation of mineralized water from the flow on the inclined surface and subsequent steam condensation. Inclined surface is located in water reservoir with mineralized water, and flow is provided from the upper edge of the surface to lower edge due to free convective heat-mass transfer. The device for embodiment of the method presents a chamber with funnel-shaped bottom with hole in the center for draining brine, transparent roof and cooled wall for condensate collection. The bottom has light-absorbing coating. Chamber has float device in form of frame embracing the chamber and fastened with it at the level of upper edge of the funnel-shaped bottom. EFFECT: higher efficiency.

The method of desalination of water is that they carry out the evaporation of mineralized water from a stream flowing along an inclined surface, and the subsequent condensation of steam. The inclined surface is placed in a reservoir with mineralized water and provide a flow from the upper edge of this surface to the lower edge due to free convective heat and mass transfer. The device for desalination of water is a chamber with a funnel-shaped bottom having a hole in the center for draining the brine, a translucent roof and a cooled wall to collect condensate. The bottom has a light-absorbing coating. The camera is equipped with a float means, which is a frame that encloses the camera and fastened with it at the level of the upper edge of the funnel-shaped bottom.
