Abstract

Plant comprises a tray which is transparent to light and through which the water flows at a very slow rate. The inclined transparent cover is artificially cooled the condensate collected at its underside runs into a gutter and to a reservoir. The lower temp. of the artificially cooled cover results in a higher condensation rate and in less space requirements for a given output.
