Abstract

A bumper support structure S includes: a vehicle body frame 1 that extends in the height direction of a vehicle and has a lower end thereof fixed to the upper surface of a side frame F extending in the forward-backward direction of the vehicle; an upper bumper 2 extending in the vehicle width direction of the vehicle in front of or behind of the vehicle body frame 1; a bracket 4 that connects the upper bumper 2 to the vehicle body frame 1 as a result of one end of the bracket being fixed to the upper bumper 2 and the other end being fixed to the vehicle body frame 1 at a position different from the position of said one end in the height direction; and a support member 5 that is provided between the upper bumper 2 and the vehicle body frame 1 in the forward-backward direction of the vehicle, the support member suppressing the movement of the upper bumper 2 towards the vehicle body frame 1.
