SE REFIERE A UN ELEMENTO DE ENFRIAMIENTO QUE SE VA A USAR EN LA ESTRUCTURA DE UN REACTOR PIROMETALURGICO, TAL COMO UN HORNO, EMPLEADO EN LOS PROCESOS DE METALES, COMPRENDIENDO DICHO ELEMENTO DE ENFRIAMIENTO UNA ENVUELTA HECHA DE COBRE O ALEACION DE COBRE, PROVISTO DE UN SISTEMA DE CANALES PARA LA CIRCULACION DEL AGENTE DE ENFRIAMIENTO, CARACTERIZADO PORQUE UNA SALIENTE HECHA DE COBRE O ALEACION DE COBRE ESTA UNIDA CON LA ENVUELTA Y DISPUESTA DEBAJO DEL REVESTIMIENTO DE LA PARED DEL REACTOR, DE MODO QUE SE CREA UNA UNION METALURGICA EN LA UNION ENTRE LA ENVUELTA Y LA SALIENTE.
