Abstract

he present invention relates to an isolated polypeptide of amino acid residues 1 to 82 of SEQ ID NO:1, 2, 4 and the use of the polypeptide for preparing a medicament for protecting bone marrow cells from chemotherapeutic agents. Also claimed is a process for diagnosing a disease related to the underexpression of the polypeptide, a vector, and host cell comprising the polypeptide.
