Abstract

Oppfinnelsen viser en frenngangsnnåte og et apparat for å bygge en nettverks-database for telekommunikasjon (43) ut fra en eksisterende database (34), I fremgangsmåten behandles den eksisterende nettverks- databasen for å skille ut data som så lagres i en mellomliggende database (41). Den mellomliggende databasen (41) haren struktur som er forskjellig fra strukturen i den eksisterende nettverks-databasen. Den mellomliggende nettverks-databasen behandles så for å fremstille en endelig database (43) som kan benyttes i et nettstyringssystem. Mindre behandlingsinnsats kreves for å fremstille en mellomliggende database (41), og så ut fra denne utlede en endelig database (43), enn det som ville være tilfelle hvis den endelige databasen (43) skulle utledes direkte fra den eksisterende databa- sen.
