Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår en fremgangsmåte for å estimere bærebølge- frekvensen til et numerisk signal av PSK- typen, hvor symbolene oversendes ved fre- kvensen fs. Oppfinnelsen er særpreget ved bruk av et estimat, ved hvert symbol intervall , for vinkelforskjellen mellom to p å - hverandrefølgende data. Slike estimater vil, når de proses- seres på egnet måte, tilveiebringe styr- ingssignaler for en krets som kompenserer for frekvensfei l en mellom bærebølgen til det mottatte signal og bærebølgen til den lokale -oscillator. Ved en ikke begrensende utførelse kan oppfinnelsen implementeres ved hjelp av bare digitale kretser.
