Abstract

I en fremgangsmåte for isolering av elektriske tråder og kabler ved ekstrudering av termoplast-iske polymerer ekstruderes polymeren, først gjennom et filter for å forbedre egenskapene før den ekstruderes rundt kabelen som skal isoleres.For å hindre kvalitetsforringelse p.g.a. filter-tilstopping skiftes filteret hurtig ut ved at polymerstrmmen nedstrøms filteret blokkeres slik at filteret kan skiftes mens den kontinuerlige ekstrudering sikres ved innvirkning av trykkmid-ler på et forrådskammer nedstrøms blokkerings-innretningen.Fremgangsmåten gjennomføres i en apparatur omfatt-ende en trakt (2) som mater en 1. ekstruder (1) som ekstruderer polymeren gjennom et utskiftbart filter (3) betjent av et stempel (4) inn i et forrådskammer (7)(8) og derfor til en andre ekstruder (12) for ekstrudering av et belegg på en kabel (14) i ekstruderhodet (13). Kontinuerlig ekstrudering ved utskifting av filteret mulig-gjøres ved en blokkeringsinnretning (5) betjent av en sylinder (6) mens det nødvendige trykk ut-øves av stempelet (9) betjent av sylinderen (10). i forrådsdelen (8) .
