Abstract
Frekvensfeilestimering og rammesynkronisering utføres på et mottaker i et OFDM system basert på et mål som indikerer detektert pilotkraft. Målet kan defineres basert på krysskorrelering mellom to mottatte symboler bestemt i to OFDM symbolperioder. For frekvensfeilestimering regnes det ut en målverdi for hver av de antatte frekvensfeil. Den antatte frekvensfeil for målverdien med den største magnitude blir gitt som den estimerte frekvensfeil. For rammesynkronisering fremskaffes en korrelasjonsverdi for hver OFDM symbolperiode ved å korrelere målverdier fremskaffet for NC (feks. det nyeste) OFDM symbolperioder med NC forventede verdier. De forventede verdier regnes ut på en måte som er konsistent med måten p'a hvilken målverdiene regnes ut på. Toppdeteksjon utføres på korrelasjonsverdier fremskaffet for forskjellige OFDM symbolperioder for å bestemme rammesynkronisering.
