Abstract

Oppfinnelsen vedrører en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av AlMn-bånd eller tynnplater for videre å fremstille deler ved lodding, ifølge fremgangsmåten fremstilles formaterialet fra en smelte som inneholder (i vekt %) Si:0,3 - l,2%,Fe: < 0,5 %,Cu: < 0,1 %, Mn: 1,0-1,8 %, Mg: < 0,3 %, Cr + Zr: 0,05 - 0,4 %, Zn: < 0, 1 %, Ti: < 0, 1%, Sn: < 0, 15 %, og uunngåelig medfølgende elementer, hvis enkeltinnhold er lik maksimalt 0,05 % mens deres totalsum er maksimalt 0,1 5 %, og resten av smeiten består av aluminium. Formaterialet forvarmes ved en forvanningstemperatur på mindre enn 520°C under en holdetid på ikke mer enn 12 timer. Det forvarmede formaterialet varmvalses så til et varmvalset bånd med en varmvalsesluttemperatur på minst 250°C, og det varmvalsede båndet kaldvalses til et kaldvalset bånd uten mellomliggende gløding. Fremgangsmåten gjør det mulig å økonomisk fremstille aluminiumstyrinplater som, selv etter lodding, har et høyt nivå av fasthet, spesielt en høy flytegrense og en utmerket bestandighet mot korrosjon.
