Description

Maskin for bakning av flatbrød. Machine for baking flat bread.

The present invention relates to a machine for baking flatbread, and especially potato flatbread.

Flatbread dough that contains potato pulp is not suitable for machine baking because the dough becomes sticky, which makes rolling it difficult. The dough must therefore be well dusted with flour, and the dusting must form an even covering. If there are uncovered spots, these will stick to the rolling pin and tear up the dough. These difficulties are the reason why mechanical baking of potato flatbread has not led to any usable results, despite the fact that the product is in great demand.

It has previously been known to pass the dough past rolling rollers on conveyor belts that lie one behind the other, which, however, has the disadvantage of making it difficult to sprinkle flour on the underside of the dough. This disadvantage is remedied by the machine according to the invention by arranging the conveyor belts under each other and with increasing length from the top downwards. The dough that runs off a conveyor belt thus lands on a thick conveyor belt that can be given a completely even layer, and you are protected against uncovered spots and getting stuck on the belt. As far as the overroll is concerned, there is no difficulty with the flour sprinkling.

The invention is shown in the attached drawing, which shows a composite elevation and vertical section.

The machine consists of a series of conveyor belts 1 which are guided over rollers 2 which are stored in a stand 3 which is formed by two angle iron trestles, placed on either side of the rollers. The conveyor belts increase in length from top to bottom, so that the run-off dough from one belt falls onto the run-up side of the underlying belt. In the stand, roller rollers 4 are also stored which cooperate with the transport roller at the discharge end of the conveyor belt. The transport rollers are stored in bearings 5 on the underside of the angle irons and the roller rollers are stored in bearings on the upper side of the same flange. The cut to the right of the drawing is placed just inside the bearing.

The transport rollers on the run-up side, and all kneading rollers are equipped with flour hoppers 6, resp. 7 which are open towards the conveyor belts or the rollers, and extends over the entire roller length. They are provided with openings which are covered by flaps 8 of rubber or other appropriate material, and which are adjusted to give the suitable narrow opening for the outflow of flour.

The operation of the rollers takes place with the help of a chain pull from a motor with a screw gear 9, and a common chain 10. The sprockets 11 on the roller shafts are placed on the free end of the shafts and have a decreasing diameter from top to bottom, so that the transport speed increases as the dough is rolled down and gains increasing length. The chain runs alternately on the upper and lower side of the sprockets, whereby these get the intended change in the direction of rotation, and it also drives a roller 12 which is placed inside the stand and which drives a conveyor belt 13 which is fed from a feed hopper 14 The conveyor belt is supplied with flour in the same way as the rollers 2 and 4, and cooperates with a roller 15. Both this and the other rollers are driven from the cooperating transport roller by means of gears 16, which are placed on the other end of the shafts .

The dough that comes from the hopper 14 onto the flour-strewn belt 13 receives the first rolling when passing the roller 15 which sprinkles flour onto the dough before it comes into contact with the roller. From the belt 13, the dough goes down onto the underlying conveyor belt which takes it to the next roller, and so the processing continues until the dough from the last conveyor belt is transferred onto a conveyor belt 17 which takes the dough to the oven.

The gradual rolling down provides a gentle treatment, and reduces the risk of the dough sticking to the rollers, should there be small bare spots in the middle layer. The knurling depth can be regulated for each roller by placing the adjustable bearings on the stand, for example by arranging the displaceable bearings on the inclined stand legs.
