Abstract

The special appts. for hair drying comprises a top cap (1) fitting onto a flange of an upper heating chamber (2) above a lower chamber containing a motor-ventilator combination (5), attached to an extra flange (4). External air is drawn into an outer compartment through perforations (13) in the outer wall, and from thence through a filter (12) into the inner space around the motor. The latter drives a centrifugal blower which sends air upwards through the ventilator (6) into the hair drying compartment (2) which is supported on a hinged mounting (8).
