Abstract

Door lock has a housing with a tongue sliding in a straight line and coupled to a tongue plate with one or more driving notches. An auxiliary tongue plate (5) has a notch (6) which can be engaged by a lug (9) actuated by the key, and also a groove (14) at right angles to the direction of tongue movement. The groove is engaged by the pin (15) on an auxiliary lug (16) which actuates and locks the tongue plate (3). The outer end of the auxiliary lug can be arranged to describe a circle of greater radius than that of a standard cylinder lock.
