Abstract

The engine contains cooling ducts whose outlet is connected to the radiator inlet, and whose inlet is connected to the radiator outlet. There is an auxiliary coolant line, connecting the radiator outlet with the radiator inlet via a temp. The auxiliary line is independent from the engine cooling ducts and has a greater throughput capacity than those ducts. The auxiliary line may be independent from the pipe lines connecting the engine ducts with the radiator. One of these other pipe lines may comprise a pump.
