Abstract

The auxiliary device is for a step of a ladder and creates extra work space for paint containers and other materials. It comprises a frame with accessories and two pairs of clamp holders can be clamped at any required height of the members of the ladder steps. Once installed the clamp holders do not require to be dismantled. The removable frame can be placed in the one pair or the other pair of clamp holders. A clamp is provided for the member to the rear edge of the step and is suitable for step member widths varying from 3 to 5.5 centimeters. It comprises a component (1) which is placed over the narrow side on the inside of the step member. On the outside of the step member a component (2) is pushed from above into the first component. The inside of the second component is clad with rubber. With a hand screw (3), the clamp by means of a rectangular clamp foot (4), clad with rubber, is clamped against the member of the step. A holder (5) is provided in which the frame is suspended.
