Abstract

A DISPOSABLE DIAPER (1) THAT IS PROVIDED WITH AN ADHESIVE TAPE BY WHICH THE USED DIAPER IS RETAINED IN A ROLLED STATE AND CLOSED OVER A RANGE AS WIDE AS POSSIBLE FOR DISPOSAL THEREOF.ONE OF FRONT AND REAR WAIST SECTIONS (6, 7) OF THE DIAPER (1) IS PROVIDED AT A CENTRAL REGION ON ITS OUTER SURFACE WITH A PAIR OF ADHESIVE TAPE STRIPS (19, 20) SPACED APART FROM EACH OTHER IN A VERTICAL DIRECTION OF THE DIAPER (1) AND EXTENDING CIRCUMFERENTIALLY IN PARALLEL TO EACH OTHER. THE TAPE STRIPS (19, 20) ARE FIXED AT THEIR RESPECTIVE ONE END PORTIONS (19A, 20A) TO THE DIAPER (1) AND THE REMAINING PORTIONS (19B, 20B) EXTENDING FROM THEIR RESPECTIVE ONE END PORTIONS ARE FOLDED SEVERAL TIMES OVER SO THAT THEY MAY BE UNFOLDED IN THE CIRCUMFERENTIALLY DIRECTION. THE PORTIONS (19B, 20B) ARE FORMED WITH ADHESIVE REGIONS USED NOT ONLY TO HOLD THESE PORTIONS (19B, 20B) IN FOLDED POSITIONS BUT ALSO TO RETAIN THE USED AND ROLLED DIAPER (1) IN ITS ROLLED STATE.(FIG 1)
