Abstract

La presente invencion se relaciona con redes IP y de manera mas particular, con redes de area local, por ejemplo redes caseras. Se relaciona con la manera en la cual los dispositivos se conectan a dichas redes para obtener y actualizar conocimiento de los otros dispositivos compatibles conectados a la red. Este metodo se basa en la transmision regular de mensajes de senalizacion por todos los dispositivos compatibles. De esta manera, al monitorear la red, un dispositivo es capaz de detectar a los otros dispositivos en la red.
