Abstract

Se describen sistemas para iniciar la polimerizacion de monomeros acrílicos que comprende: (1) complejos de amina organoborano y (2) desacomplejantes birreactivos que comprenden de preferencia por lo menos un grupo polimerizable por radicales libres y por lo menos un grupo reactivo de amina en la misma molécula. El desacomplejante tiene la capacidad de formar un enlace covalente con los monomeros acrílicos y el complejo de amina, para dar como resultado un nivel reducido de constituyentes moviles. Además cuando el complejo de amina organoborano del sistema iniciador comprende un compuesto de poliamina, se proporcionan ventajosamente composiciones acrílicas polimerizadas que tienen una resistencia a los disolventes mejorada.
