Abstract

La presente invencion proporciona polinucleotidos purificados y aislados que codifican los polipéptidos de IRP que regulan las integrinas beta2 y beta7 que se proponen para participar en las trayectorias de transmision de señales y/o reciclado. Se proporciona también métodos para identificar los moduladores de actividades de IRP y métodos para identificar otras proteínas que interaccionan con los péptidos de IRP en trayectorias de transmision de señales. Los moduladores de interacciones de IRP se proponen como siendo utiles, por ejemplo, en la supervision y tratamiento de procesos inflamatorios que involucran leucocitos.
