Abstract
Un aparato y método para añadir y retirar una estacion base objetivo de una red de estaciones base, que incluye estaciones base adyacentes a la estacion base objetivo. el aparato está comprendido de dos atenuadores: un primer atenuador (210) que ajusta un nivel de potencia de ruido de recepcion artificial y un segundo atenuador (218) para ajustar un nivel de transmision. el nivel de transmision determina el área de cobertura de enlace directo en la estacion base. El nivel de ruido artificial establece el área de cobertura de enlace inverso de la estacion base. Cuando se añade una estacion base, inicialmente la potencia de transmision es baja y la potencia de recepcion de ruido artificial es elevada, de tal forma que las áreas de cobertura de enlace directo e inverso están colocadas en cercana proximidad a la estacion base. Conforme la estacion base florece hacia una operacion plena, la potencia de recepcion de ruido artificial se disminuye y el nivel de transmision se incrementa, de tal forma que las dos áreas de cobertura de la estacion base permanecen balanceadas conforme se expanden las áreas de cobertura. Cuando una estacion base será retirada de un sistema, se utilizan los mismos atenuadores para marchitar las dos áreas de cobertura al unisono conforme el nivel de potencia transmitida desde la estacion base disminuye.
