Abstract
La invención se refiere a la composición de un recubrimiento eléctricamente aislante a base de fosfatos de aluminio y magnesio y un sol de sílice para acero eléctrico de grano orientado. La composición reivindicada tiene la siguiente proporción de componentes: 20-40% en peso de fosfatos de Al y Mg, 20-45% en peso de sol de sílice y aditivos modificadores en forma de 0.01-2% en peso de silicato de circonio ZrSiO4, 0.1-3% en peso de ortovanadato de potasio K3VO4, 0.1-3% en peso de hidrogenofosfato de vanadilo VOHPO4 y 0.1-2% en peso de óxido-hidróxido de manganeso MnO(OH), y agua hasta el 100% en peso. El resultado es un recubrimiento eléctricamente aislante que no contiene compuestos de cromo (CrIII y CrVI) y que presenta altos valores de resistencia a la corrosión y a la humedad, una excelente adherencia al metal, una buena apariencia y un alto coeficiente de resistencia eléctrica.
