Abstract

La presente invención proporciona una composición de fibra de vidrio de alto módulo, una fibra de vidrio y un material compuesto de la misma. La composición de fibra de vidrio de alto módulo comprende los siguientes componentes expresados en porcentaje en peso: 43-58% de SiO2,15.5-23% de Al2O3,8-18% de MgO, mayor o igual a 25% de (Al2O3+MgO), 0.1-7.5% de CaO, 7.1-22% de Y2O3, mayor o igual a 16.5% de (MgO+Y2O3), 0.01-5% de TiO2, 0.01-1.5% de Fe2O3, 0.01-2% de Na2O, 0-1.5% de K2O, 0-0.9% de Li2O, 0-4% de SrO, y 0-5% de (La2O3+CeO2). La composición puede aumentar significativamente el módulo de la fibra de vidrio, reducir significativamente la temperatura de refinado del vidrio fundido y mejorar el rendimiento de refinado del vidrio fundido; también puede optimizar la tasa de endurecimiento del vidrio fundido, mejorar el rendimiento de enfriamiento de la fibra de vidrio y reducir la tasa de cristalización. La composición es adecuada para la producción a gran escala de la fibra de vidrio de alto módulo.
