Abstract
Un método, en cada uno de las tres orientaciones ortogonales, obtiene capas dimensionales de datos de malla triangular del objeto 3D a partir de un programa de rebanado. Los valores de longitud de perímetro de cada capa de cada uno de las tres orientaciones ortogonales se obtienen y comparan con el valor de longitud de perímetro almacenado de un objeto de referencia para determinar un grado de correspondencia. Los datos de medición se facilitan al procesar mediante un software de impresión CNC/3D. También se analizan los objetos más pequeños dentro del objeto 3D. Para un enfoque más robusto, cada triángulo en los datos de malla triangular se analiza al totalizar el perímetro de los triángulos circundantes para asignar un valor. La correspondencia con el objeto de referencia se realiza con base en los valores de perímetro total asignados. El objeto 3D puede convertirse a escala en una, dos o tres dimensiones ortogonales para emparejarse al objeto de referencia.
