Abstract
La presente invención proporciona métodos y composiciones para la producción de proteasas maduras en células hospederas bacterianas. Las composiciones incluyen polinucleótidos que codifican secuencias de serina proteasas con regiones de propéptido modificadas o heterólogas; polipéptidos que comprenden serina proteasas con regiones de propéptido modificadas o heterólogas; casetes de expresión, construcciones de ADN, vectores y cromosomas que comprenden tales polinucleótidos; y células hospederas bacterianas que comprenden tales polinucleótidos. Los métodos incluyen métodos para potenciar la producción de proteasas maduras en células hospederas bacterianas (por ejemplo, células hospederas de Bacillus sp.). Las proteasas producidas se usan en la producción industrial de enzimas, adecuada para su uso en diversas industrias incluyendo, pero sin limitación, la industria de la limpieza, los piensos y el procesamiento textil.
