Abstract
Se describe una composición de fibra de vidrio, una fibra de vidrio del mismo, y un material compuesto de los mismos. El composición de fibra de vidrio comprende componentes de los siguientes contenidos expresados en los términos de porcentaje en peso: SiO2 al 56-64%, Al2O3 al 12-18%, Na2O al 0.1-1%, K2O al 0.1-1%, Fe2O3 al 0.1-1%, Li2O+Bi2O3 al 0.05-1%, CaO+MgO+SrO al 19-25%, TiO2 al 0.1-1.5% y CeO2 al 0-1%, donde el porcentaje en peso tiene un valor de C1 = Li2O/Bi2O3 que será mayor de 1, el porcentaje en peso tiene un valor de C2 = (MgO+SrO)/CaO en la variación de 0.4-1, y el porcentaje en peso tiene un valor de C3 = MgO/(MgO+SrO) que será mayor de 0.8. La composición reduce la cantidad de burbujas de gas, viscosidad, y riesgo de desvitrificación, y se puede aplicar adicionalmente en la producción en horno de reserva a gran escala.
