Abstract

Se describe una técnica para generar una PDU de control de MAC producida mediante la multiplexión del número no especificado de mensajes de control y/o mensajes de control de diferentes tamaños, mientras que se reducen los gastos generales del encabezado de MAC hasta un mínimo. Uno o más mensajes de control (12a, 12b) que van a ser transmitidos, son generados y multiplexados para generar un bloque (12) de mensaje de control, y para generar una señal de control (10) transmitida a través de un canal de transporte. La longitud del bloque de mensaje de control puede ser variada de acuerdo al número de mensajes de control multiplexados y/o al tamaño de cada mensaje de control. La señal de control no incluye la información sobre el número de mensajes de control multiplexados y/o el tamaño de cada mensaje de control.
