Abstract
Una boquilla de aspersión para descargar por lo menos un fluido en un patrón de aspersión a una corriente de fluido en un recipiente, tal como una mezcla atomizada de aceite y vapor en una unidad de desintegración catalítica de fluido, en donde la boquilla altera los patrones de flujo de la corriente de fluido cerca de la boquilla para inhibir la erosión de la boquilla y mantener el patrón de aspersión. La boquilla comprende un miembro de entrada que define por lo menos un conducto de entrada y un miembro de salida en comunicación de fluido con el miembro de entrada. El miembro de salida incluye una superficie exterior y una pluralidad de protuberancias angularmente separadas con relación una a la otra alrededor de un eje de la salida, cada depresión definiendo una abertura de salida en comunicación de fluido con al menos un conducto de entrada teniendo una longitud (L) y un diámetro (D) y una pared que se extiende axialmente, en donde la pared que se extiende axialmente se extiende hacia afuera a una longitud (X) mayor que aproximadamente 0.3175 centímetros con relación a la superficie exterior y la LID es de por lo menos aproximadamente 1/2.
