Abstract
La prueba del desempeno de un medidor electroquimico utilizado para medir la presencia de un analito en una muestra biologica, particularmente glucosa en sangre entera, incluye la introduccion de una solucion de control que contiene una cantidad predeterminada del analito y una cantidad predeterminada de un compuesto de referencia interna. El compuesto de referencia interna se selecciona de tal manera que se oxide en un potencial mayor que aquel utilizado para oxidar el analito, haciendo posible con lo cual que se distinga la solucion de control de una muestra biologica.
