Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un metodo para reducir selectivamente los niveles de sulfuro de hidrógeno y de sulfuros orgánicos de corrientes de hidrocarburo gaseosas y/o líquidas, el cual comprende poner en contacto dichas corrientes con una composición que comprende el producto de reacción de i) una alcanolamina inferior, con ii) un aldehído inferior. Un método caracterizado porque dicha alcanolamina inferior comprende de 1 a aproximadamente 6 carbonos. Un metodo caracterizado porque dicho aldehído inferior comprende de 1 a aproximadamente 4 carbonos. Un metodo caracterizado porque i) es monoetanolamina y ii) es formaldehído.
