Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para preparar una silibinina exenta de isosilibina de fórmula: en al cual: el fruto seco del Silybum marianum L Gaertn se libera del volumen del ácido graso, se extrae exhaustivamente con acetato de etilo; se centrifuga hasta quedar clara y el residuo seco se somete, en este sistema disolvente de la fase inferior, mediante una evaporación al vacío, hasta la desecación, se aisla una mezcla de polihidroxifenilcromanona, de 70 a 80 por ciento (silimarina I-IV grupos I a IV de silimarina, el cua se suspende en 3 a 5 veces su cantidad por peso de metanol; la suspensión obtenida se caliente hasta que hierve, mientras se agita; se deja que el concentrado repose a la temperatura ambiente; el producto que así precipita se lava de 1 a 3 veces con la menor cantidad posible de metanol frío, se seca, se trata con carbón vegetal activo en condiciones de reflujo; se filtra, el filtrado se evapora a presión reducida, el concentrado se mezcla, agitándolo vigorosamente, con aproximadamente una decima parte del volumen del concentrado, de metanol; se deja reposar varias horas a la temperatura ambiente, y el producto filtrada por succión se lava de 1 a 3 veces con un poco de acetato de etilo y se seca al vacío.
