Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para la preparación de una mezcla de isómeros de cypermethrin o cyfluthrin enriquecidos en los isómeros más insecticidas, caracterizado por hacer reaccionar el Ó-hidroxi-3-fenoxifenil-acetonitrilo apropiado con una solución del cloruro de 3-(2,2-dicloroetenil)-2,2-dimetilciclopropanocarbonilo en un solvente de hidrocarburo a una temperatura de 75 a 115 grados centigrados en una atmósfera inerte, no estando presente un aceptador ácido en al mezcla de reacción, lavar la mezcla de reacción con base acuosa, y con base acuosa, y recuperar el producto.
