Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método para detección de un ligando en un fluido que comprende: a) combinar un fluido que se sospecha que tiene un ligando con un antiligando específico para el ligando, una enzima, un catalizador de ión de metal, un substrato, un reactivo de reducción-oxidación y un modulador para la actividad del catalizador, en donde el modulador se bloquea mediante un grupo acoplado al mismo; b) ocasionar que el ligando presente en el fluído se enlace al antiligando para proporcionar una fracción enlazada, mediante lo cual la enzima elimina el grupo bloqueador, proporcionando de esta manera un modulador libre, el modular libre modulando la actividad catalítica del catalizador para una reacción entre el substrato y el reactivo de reducción-oxidación, mediante lo cual se forma un producto; y c) detectar el ligando mediante una señal asociada con la reacción.
