Description
Claims (32)
- 광 발생 수단, 영상을 형성하기 위해 상기 광 발생 수단에 의해 생성된 광을 변조하는 각각의 화소들을 가지는 다수의 적층 고해상도 표시 장치 패널, 상기 다수의 적층 고해상도 표시 장치 패널로부터 발생하는 시차 인조 잡상을 보상하는 고해상도 보상 수단. 및 변조된 광을 초점 조정하고 복합 실상 또는 복합 허상을 형성하는 고해상도 광학 초점 수단을 구비함을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 고해상도 표시 장치 패널은 불투명한 매트릭스 어드레싱 구조를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 고해상도 표시 장치 패널은 활성 매트릭스 액정 패널임을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 표시 장치 패널 각각의 사이에 제로 측면 옵셋이 있음을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 고해상도 보상 수단이 공기와 굴절 매체 사이의 굴절 경계면을 포함하여 상기 굴절 경계면의 전부가 실질적으로 상기 다수의 적층 표시 장치 패널에 대해 경사지지 않음을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 고해상도 보상 수단이 각각이 특정의 스펙트럼 대역에서 상기 변조된 광을 반사하는 다수의 적층 다이크로닉 미러들을 더 포함함을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 다수의 다이크로닉 미러들은 투명한 프리즘에 병합됨을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 다수의 다이크로닉 미러들은 상기 프리즘의 양측에 병합됨을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 프리즘은 삼각형이고 상기 다수의 다이크로닉 미러들은 프리즘의 일측면에 병합되어 상기 다수의 표시 장치 패널로부터 전달된 광을 약 90도로 반사함을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 프리즘은 삼각형으로 상기 다수의 표시 장치 패널로부터 전달된 광을 약 180도로 반사함을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 다수의 적층 표시 장치 패널 각각의 사이에 제로 측면 옵셋이 존재함을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제6항에 있어서, 흡수 컬러 필터 수단이 상기 다이크로닉 미러들 사이에 삽입됨을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 고해상도 보상 수단이, 다수의 제1다이크로닉 미러들 및 상기 다수의 적층 고해상도 표시 장치 패널들로부터 원거리로 떨어져 위치하고 상기 다수의 표시 장치 패널들과 상기 다수의 제1다이크로닉 미러들 사이의 광로를 따라 상기 변조된 광의 경로상에 위치하는 빔분리 수단을 구비하고, 상기 다수의 제1다이크로닉 미러들은 실질적으로 상기 다수의 적충 표시 장치 패널들에 대해 경사지지 않음을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 빔분리 수단은 상기 변조된 광의 소정 부분을 90도로 상기 표시 장치 패널들에 대해 90도로 위치하는 상기 제1다이크로닉 미러들로 반사함을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제14항에 있어서, 상기 다수의 다이크로닉 미러들은 곡면화되어 상기 변조된 광의 반사동안에 광파워를 제공함을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제13항에 있어서, 제1 1/4파 플레이트는 상기 빔분리 수단과 상기 다수의 제1다이크로닉 미러들 사이에 위치하고 상기 빔분리 수단이 편광 빔분리 수단임을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제14항에 있어서, 상기 고해상도 보상 수단이, 상기 빔분리 수단과 상기 다수의 제1다이크로닉 미러들 사이에 위치하는 제1 1/4파 플레이트, 상기 빔분리 수단을 위한 편광 수단, 상기 다수의 표시 장치 패널에 평행하며 상기 빔분리 수단 및 상기 다수의 제1다이크로닉 미러들로부터 동일한 거리로 이격되어 위치하는 다수의 제2다이크로닉 미러들을 더 구비함을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 빔분리 수단은 펠리클 빔분리기임을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 다수의 다이크로닉 미러들은 실질적으로 상기 다수의 표시 장치 패널들에 평행하고, 상기 고해상도 광학 초점 수단이 초점축에 평행하지 않는 상기 다수의 표시 장치 패널들로부터 나온 변조된 광의 일부분만이 상기 고해상도 광학 초점 수단에 의해 수집되도록 상기 다수의 표시 장치 패널들에 실질적으로 수직인 대칭축을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 고해상도 보상 수단이 상기 다수의 표시 장치 패널을 통해 비조준된 광선의 통과로부터 야기되는 다중 각 간섭 무늬를 평균할 정도로 충분히 큰 광수집각을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제20항에 있어서, 상기 광수집각에 해당하는 개구수는 약 2np/D 또는 그 이상이며, 여기서 n은 상기 다수의 표시 장치 패널의 연속되는 한 쌍 사이에 있는 매체의 굴절률이고, p는 상기 표시 장치 패널들 각각 내에서의 인접하는 화소들 사이의 mm단위의 거리이며, D는 상기 다수의 표시 장치 패널들 중의 임의의 2개 사이의 mm 단위의 최장거리임을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제20항에 있어서, 상기 고해상도 표시 장치 패널들은 불투명한 매트릭스 어드레싱 구조를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제20항에 있어서, 상기 광수집각은 상기 초점 수단의 초점 거리 및 관찰자의 육안의 동공 지름에 의해 결정되고, 상기 광학 초점 수단은 상기 관찰자의 육안의 동공 지름에 의해 상기 광수집각을 유지하면서 상기 관찰자의 육안의 운동을 허락하는 추가 수집각을 제공함을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제20항에 있어서, 상기 다수의 표시 장치 패널들 중의 하나 또는 그 이상이 상기 다수의 표시 장치 패널들중의 나머지 부분으로부터 측면적으로 또는 방위적으로 정렬되지 않음을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제20항에 있어서, 상기 광수집각의 크기와 방위는 상기 표시 장치 패널 각각의 모든 점에서 일정함을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 고해상도 보상 수단은, 다수의 제1다이크로닉 미러들과 상기 다수의 제1다이크로닉 미러들에 의해 발생된 영향들을 제한한 해상도 보상을 제공하는 다수의 제2마이크로닉 미러들을 구비함을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 마이크로닉 미로들 사이의 거리는 상기 미로의 두께와 독립적으로 제어됨을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 다수의 다이크로닉 미러들 각각은 부분적으로 특정의 스펙트럼 대역에서 광을 전달하고 상기 초점 수단은 곡면으로 된 반사 요소임을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제28항에 있어서, 상기 다수의 다이크로닉 미러들은 코레스테릭 원형 편광 빔분리기임을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 고해상도 보상 수단이, 매우 얇으며 적층된 다수의 다이크로닉 펠리클 미러들로 구성되고 인접하는 다이크로닉 미러들 사이의 굴절률이 상기 다수의 다이크로닉 미러들과 상기 다수의 표시장치 패널들 사이의 굴절들과 같음을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 제30항에 있어서, 공기가 인접하는 다이크로닉 미러들 사이에 존재함을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.
- 광 발생 수단, 영상을 형성하기 의해 상기 광 발생 수단에 의해 생성된 광의 강도를 변조하도록 상기 광의 경로상에 각각의 화소를 가지는 다수의 적층 고해상도 표시 장치 패널, 및 각각이 상기 고해상도 표시장치 패널들 중의 하나에 의해 변조된 광을 선택적으로 반사하고 초점을 맞추어 상기 다수의 적층된 고해상도 표시 장치 패널들의 실복합상 또는 허복합상을 형성하는 곡면을 가지는 다수의 적층 다이크로닉 미러들을 구비함을 특징으로 하는 컬러 투영 시스템.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
