Abstract
본 발명은 외과 수술용 기구에 관한 것이다. 카테터는 환자 신체의 내강 계통 내부의 목표 부위에 도달하기 위하여 복합 가이드와이어(composite guidewire)를 사용한다. 복합 가이드와이어 조립체는 말초 또는 유연한 조직 목표부위에 도달하는데 특히 유용하다. 본 발명은 (적어도) 초탄성 말단부를 갖는 여러 부분으로 이루어진 가이드와이어 조립체를 포함한다. 본 발명에 따른 가이드와이어의 변형예로는, 와이어를 타이층(tie layer)으로 피복하고 나서, 카테터 내부에서 사용하기 위한 적합성뿐만 아니라 맥관 내강 내부와의 적합성을 향상시키기 위하여 하나 이상의 윤활 중합체로 피복된 코팅을 갖는다.

제1도는 본 발명에 따른 가이드와이어의 주요 구성요소를 도시하는 개략적인 측면도, 제2도는 고탄성 합금으로 이루어진 말단부를 갖는 본 발명에 따라 제조된 복합 가이드와이어의 제1변형예를 도시하는 부분 절결 측면도, 제3도는 고탄성 합금으로 이루어진 말단부를 갖는 본 발명에 따라 제조된 복합 가이드와이어의 제2변형예를 도시하는 부분 절결 측면도.
Claims (31)
- 카테터를 신체 내강 내부로 안내하기 위한 가이드와이어에 있어서, 가요성을 갖는 적어도 하나의 기부에 더욱 가까운 기단 부분과 가요성을 갖는 말단에 더욱 가까운 초탄성 합금으로 이루어진 말단 부분을 구비하는 신장된 가요성의 금속 와이어 코어를 포함하며, 상기 기단 부분과 말단 부분은 중간 부분에 의하여 분리되어 상기 중간 부분에 의하여 연결되며, 상기 중간 부분의 적어도 일부분은 가요성이 다르고, 가요성은 상기 기부에 더욱 가까운 기단 부분의 가요성 내지 말단에 더욱 가까운 초탄성 말단 부분의 가요성 범위 이내인 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 중간 부분은 기단 부분의 연장부로 형성된느 대응하는 소켓 내부에서 말단 부분의 연장부로 형성된 원추형 부재를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기단 부분은 금속성 튜브 부재를 포함하며, 상기 중간 부분은 기단 부분의 연장부로 형성되는 대응하는 소켓 내부에서 말단 부분의 연장부로 형성된 원추형 부분을 갖는 부재를 포함하는 것을 특지응로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 기단 부분은 상기 금속성 튜브 부재내부에 적어도 하나의 금속성 삽입물을 또한 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기단 부분은 금속성 튜브 부재와 상기 금속성 튜브 부재 내부의 적어도 하나의 금속성 삽입물을 또한 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기단 부분은 금속성 튜브 부재와 상기 금속성 튜브 부재 내부의 적어도 어느 정도의 중합체 재료를 또한 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 중간 부분은 기단 부분으로부터 말단 부분까지 연장하는 축을 가지며, 상기 중간 부분은 상기 축에 대하여 소정 바이어스(bias)로 연결된 기단 부분의 연장부와 말단 부분의 연장부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 중간 부분은 기단 부분과 말단 부분의 연장부 둘레에 튜브 부재를 또한 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 초탄성 합금은 니켈 및 티타늄을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기단 부분은 금속성 튜브 부재인 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 금속성 튜브 부재는 스테인레스 강철을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기단 부분은 중합체 튜브 부재인 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제12항에 있어서, 상기 중합체 튜브 기간 부분은 폴리이미드를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기단 부분은 초탄성 합금 리본 편조 부재를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 말단 부분은 나선형으로 권선된 리본 또는 코일에 의하여 적어도 부분적으로 피복되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 나선형으로 권선된 리본 또는 코일은 초탄성 합금 및 방사성 불투과성 합금으로부터 선택된 금속 재료를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 나선형으로 권선된 리본 또는 코일은 백금을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제16항에 있어서, 상기 나선형으로 권선된 리본 또는 코일은 티타늄 및 니켈을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 말단 부분 또는 기단 부분의 적어도 일부의 외부에 위치하는 타이층을 또한 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제19항에 있어서, 상기 타이층은 나일론, 폴리에틸렌, 폴리스티렌, 폴리우레탄 및 폴리에틸렌 테레프탈레이트 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제19항에 있어서, 상기 타이층은 폴리에틸렌 테레프탈레이트 또는 폴리우레탄을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제21항에 있어서, 상기 타이층은 폴리우레탄이며, 말단으로 가면서 가변 강도를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제19항에 있어서, 상기 중합체 타이층의 적어도 일부는 윤활성 중합체 재료로 피복되는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제23항에 있어서, 상기 윤활성 중합체 재료는 적어도 친수성 중합체를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제19항에 있어서, 상기 타이층은 황산 바륨, 3산화 비스무트, 탄산 비스무트, 텅스텐 및 탄탈륨으로부터 선택된 방사성 불투과 재료를 또한 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제1항에 있어서, 카테터 외장을 또한 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 카테터를 신체 내강 내부로 안내하기 위한 가이드와이어에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 말단에 더욱 가까운 초탄성 합금 말단 부분과, 금속성 튜브인 기단에 더욱 가까운 기단 부분을 갖는 신장된 가요성 금속 와이어 코어를 포함하며, 상기 기단 부분의 적어도 말단부는 튜브 기단 부분 내부의 말단 초탄성 합금의 신장부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제27항에 있어서, 상기 기단 부분은 말단 초탄성 합금 말단 부분의 신장부에 스웨지(swage) 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제27항에 있어서, 상기 기단 부분은 다이를 통해 기단 부분의 적어도 말단부를 인발하여 말단 초탄성 합금 말단 부분의 신장부에 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
- 제27항에 있어서, 상기 기단 부분은 금속성 튜브 부재와 상기 금속성 튜브 부재 내부의 적어도 하나의 금속성 삽입물을 또한 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가이드와이어.
