본 발명은 현재 서비스가 급증하고 있는 고속데이타, 고속패시밀리, 영상등의 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 고속모뎀기능을 내장하고 있는 DS64N 서비스 유니트 장치에 관한 것으로, 기준의 독립적으로 존재하고 있는 채널셀프측의 거리 연장용 매개체를 패키지 형태로 DS64N 유니트 내에서 수용하여 채널셀프내에서 기존의 데이타 서비스와 같이 4W로 가입자측의 고속모뎀과 연결이 가능하며, 근거리 가입자에게는 인터페이스용 패키지 교환으로 직접 커넥터를 통하여 가입자 단말과 V.11,V.10,V.28 또는 V.35 인터페이스가 가능하여 장치설치 및 시설의 간편성, 채널셀프내에서 가입자측 모뎀의 원격시험기능으로 인한 원격유지보수 기능, 채널셀프와 모뎀간 커넥터의 제거로 인한 가격절감, 운용환경 및 상황에 따른 인터페이스 선택 수용가능등으로 많은 효과를 가져올 수 있다.The present invention relates to a DS64N service unit device with a built-in high-speed modem function that can provide services such as high-speed data, high-speed facsimile, video, etc., in which service is rapidly increasing.
