본 발명의 공기조화기의 제상제어장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 특히 실외열교환기(5), 사방밸브(2), 실외송풍팬(6)을 구비하며 상기 사방밸브(2)의 온오프에 의해 냉방싸이클 및 난방싸이클이 전환되어 냉방운전 및 난방운전을 수행하고 난방운전시 냉방싸이클로 냉매의 흐름을 전환하여 제상운전을 수행하는 냉난방 겸용 공기조화기에 있어서, 실외열교환기(5)의온도를 감지하는 실외열교환기 온도감지부(11)와, 실외온도를 감지하는 실외온도감지부(12)와, 실외송풍팬(6)의 회전수를감지하는 팬회전수 감지부(17)와, 실외온도에 대해 실외열교환기(5)의 온도가 일정온도이하인 경우 실외송풍팬(6)의 회전수를 미리 설정된 정격회전수와 비교하여 상기 실외열교환기(5)의 성에형성여부를 판단하고 제상운전을 제어하는 제어부(10)를 구비하여 실외온도에 의해 설정된 온도와 실외열교환기(5)의 온도, 송풍팬(6)의 회전수와 정격회전수를 각각 비교하여 실외열교환기(5)의 착상 여부를 판단하여 제상운전을 수행하므로 실외온도감지부(11)의 오동작에 대해서도 착상여부를 정확하게 판단하여 적절한 제상운전을 수행할 수 있다.The present invention relates to a defrosting control device and method of an air conditioner of the present invention, and in particular, having an outdoor heat exchanger (5), a four-way valve (2), and an outdoor blower fan (6) by turning on and off the four-way valve (2).
