Abstract

본 발명은 디지털 영상 복호화 방법에 관한 것으로, 프레임 메모리에 저장되어 있는 이전 블록의 영상신호 데이타 중에 현재 블록에 인접한 블록의 경계부 추정값이 경계부 평균값 추정부에서 다음과 같은 식에 의해 계산되고,
E = (2b - a + ad- c)/2 (식)
식에서 a는 현재 블록에 인접한 하나의 경계부 평균값이고, b는 그 블록의 a 바로 이전의 경계부 평균값, c는 현재 블록에 인접한 다른 하나의 블록 경계부 평균값, d는 이 블록의 c 바로 이전의 경계부 평균값이다.
이 추정값(E)과 현재 블록의 경계화소 평균값(B)의 차이가 0 ≤│E-B│ ≤ ½STEP 범위로 제한되므로써, 이전블럭의 경계화소 평균값이 계산에 의해 보다 정확하게 추정되므로, 영상신호 데이터의 양자화 및 역양자화시에 영상신호 데이터의 유실로 인한 블록킹 현상을 보다 효과적으로 제거할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 보다 깨끗하고 선명한 화질을 갖는 영상을 디스플레이할 수 있도록 한 것이다.

제3도는 본 발명의 일실시예로서 데이터블럭을 도시한 도면.

Claims (1)

  1. 움직임 보상 차분 부호화되어 입력되는 현재 프레임의 영상신호 데이터를 가변길이 복화화 부단과 역이산코사인 변환수단을 통해 원래의 영상신호 데이터로 복원하여, 이 복원된 현재 프레임의 블록경계부 평균값과 프레임 메모리에 저장되어 있는 이전 프레임의 블록경계부 평균값을 추정하여 움직임 보상을 실행함으로써, 차분 부호화된 영상신호를 원신호를 복원하는 디지털 영상 복호화 방법에 있어서, 상기 이전 프레임의 블록경계부 평균값 추성은 하기의 식에 의해 수행되며,
    E = (2B- A+2D-C)/2
    상기 식에서 A는 상기 현재 프레임의 블록과 인접한 하나의 블록경계부 평균값, B는 상기 A 바로 이전의 평균값, C는 상기 현재 프레임의 블록과 인접한 다른 하나의 블록경계부 평균값, D는 상기 C 바로 이전의 평균값인 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 영상 복호화 방법.
