Abstract

본 발명의 목적은 자기기록 매체에 있어서 그 기억용량을 증대시킬 수 있도록 하는데 있다.
자기기록 매체(1)에 있어서, 그 R/W영역(2)과, 독출전용의 리드온리 영역(3)을 설정한다. 리드온리 영역(3)은 한 번 기입이 행해진 후에는 독출에만 사용된다. 기드온리 영역(3)을 설정하는 것으로 트랙밀도를 크게 할 수 있고, 또 갭의 단축이 가능해져 기억용량의 증대가 가능해진다.

자기기록 매체 및 그 자기기록 재생장치
본 내용은 요부공개 건이므로 전문내용을 수록하지 않았음
제1도는 본 발명에 의한 자기기록 매체를 나타내는 모식적 구성도이고, 제2도는 본 발명에 의한 자기기록 매체의 데이터포맷 영역의 기록상태를 나타내는 설명도이며, 제3도는 본 발명에 의한 자기기록 재생장치의 구성을 나타내는 블록도이다.

Claims (3)

  1. 데이터의 기입 및 독출이 가능한 자기기록 매체에 있어서, 기입하고 있는 데이터를 수정할 수 있는 리드/라이트 영역과, 한 번 데이터를 기입한 후에는 독출에만 사용하는 리드온리 영역으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 자기기록 매체.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 리드온리 영역의 트랙밀도는 상기 리드/라이트 영역의 트랙밀도 이상으로 설정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자기기록 매체.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항 기재의 자기기록 매체중의 데이터포맷 영역에 서보정보를 기록할 때에, 상기 리드온리 영역중의 서보정보의 시간폭을 상기 리드/라이트 영역중의 서보정보의 시간폭보다 짧게 하여 기록하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자기기록 재생장치.
