Claims (7)
- 영상 데이타를 수신하기 위한 다수의 픽셀, 다수의 픽셀을 제어하기 위한 강유전체 소자, 강유전체 소자의 자발적 분극에 의하여 야기되는 메모리 기능을 이용하는 다수의 픽셀을 구동하기 위한 다수의 스캐닝신호선 및 다수의 데이타 신호선을 포함하는 디스플레이 장치를 구동하기 위한 매트릭스 구동 방법에 있어서, 소정의 선택 기간 중에 제1극성을 가지는 리셋 펄스 및 제2극성을 가지는 데이타 기입 펄스를 다수의 스캐닝 신호선으로부터 선택된 하나의 스캐닝 신호선에 인가하는 단계 ; 상기 선택된 스캐닝 신호선에 인가되는 리셋 펄스 및 데이타 기입 펄스에 동기화되어 제2극성을 가지는 리셋 펄스 및 제1극성을 갖거나 전위가 0인 데이타 펄스를 다수의 데이타선 각각에 인가하는 단계 ; 상기 소정의 선택 기간 이외의 기간 중에 제2극성을 가지는 리셋 보상 펄스 및 제1극성을 가지거나 준위가 0인 기급 금지 펄스를 선택된 스캐닝 신호선에 인가하는 단계 ; 및 상기 선택된 스캐닝 신호선에 인가된 리셋 보상 펄스 및 데이타 기입 금지 펄스에 동기화되어 제2극성을 가지는 리셋 펄스 및 제1극성을 갖거나 준위가 0인 데이타 펄스를 다수의 데이타 신호선 각각에 인가하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 능동 매트릭스 구동 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 소정 선택 기간 이외의 기간 중에 리셋 보상 펄스의 절대값이 리셋 펄스의 절대값과 동일하고, 상기 데이타 기입 금지 펄스의 절대값이 데이타 펄스의 절대값과 같거나 그보다 작은 것을 특징으로 하는 능동 매트릭스 구동 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 소정의 기간이 하나의 피일드 내에 포함되고, 매 피일드마다 제1극성 및 제2극성을 반전시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 능동 매트릭스 구동 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 특정 기간이 하나의 피일드 내에 포함되고 ; 상기 데이타 기입 금지 펄스가 피일드의 시작부터 소정의 설택 기간의 시작까지 제1극성을 가지고, 데이타 기입 금지 펄스가 소정의 선택 기간의 끝부터 피일드의 끝까지 0의 준위를 가지며 ; 매 피일드 마다 제1극성 제2극성을 반전시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 능동 매트릭스 구동 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 하나의 프레임 내에 하나 이상의 소정의 선택 기간이 포함되고, 매 프레임마다 제1극성 및 제2극성을 반전시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 능동 매트릭스 구동 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 하나의 프레임 내에 하나 이상의 소정의 선택 기간이 포함되고 ; 상기 데이타 기입금지 펄스가 프레임의 시작부터 하나 이상의 소정 선택 기간 중에 최초의 소정의 선택 기간의 시작까지 제1극성을 가지고, 데이타 기입 금지 펄스가 제1의 소정 선택 기간의 끝으로부터 프레임의 끝가지 0의 준위를 가지며 ; 매 프레임마다 제1극성 및 제2극성을 반전시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 능동매트릭스 구동 방법.
- 영상 데이타를 수신하기 위한 다수의 픽셀, 다수의 픽셀을 제어하기 위한 강유전체 소자, 강유전체 소자의 자발적 분극에 의하여 야기되는 메모리 기능을 이용하는 다수의 픽셀을 구동하기 위한 다수의 스캐닝신호선 및 다수의 데이타 신호선을 포함하는 디스플레이 장치를 구동하기 위한 능동 매트릭스 구동 장치에 있어서, 소정의 선택 기간 중에 제1극성을 가지는 리셋 펄스 및 제2극성을 가지는 데이타 기입 펄스를 다수의 스캐닝 신호선으로부터 선택된 하나의 스캐닝 신호선에 인가하고, 소정의 선택 기간 이외의 기간 중에 제2극성을 가지는 리셋 보상 펄스 및 제1극성을 가지거나 전위가 0인 기입 금지 펄스를 선택된 스캐닝 신호선에 인가하기 위한 스캐닝 신호 구동 수단, 및 상기 선택된 기간 중에 선택된 스캐닝 신호선에 인가되는 리셋 펄스 및 데이타 기입 펄스에 동기화되어 제2극성을 가지는 리셋 펄스 및 제1극성을 가지거나 준위가 0인 데이타 펄스를 다수의 신호선 각각에 인가하고, 소정의 선택 기간 이외의 기간 중에 선택된 스캐닝 신호선에 인가되는 리셋 보상 펄스 및 데이타 기입 금지 펄스에 동기화되어 제2극성을 가지는 리셋 펄스 및 제1극성을 가지거나 준위가 0인 데이타 펄스를 다수의 데이타 신호선 각각에 인가하기 위한 데이타신호 구동 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 능동 매트릭스 구동 장치.
