Claims (7)
- 정보를 기록하는 트랙을 갖는 디스크매체와, 상기 디스크를 회전시키는 회전수단과, 상기 트랙에 정보를 기록하는 기록용헤드소자와, 상기 트랙에 정보를 재생하는 재생용헤드소자가 상기 디스크매체의 트랙 긴쪽방향으로 소정의 갭으로 병설된 헤드와, 상기 헤드를 상기 디스크매체의 반경방향으로 요동시켜서 소정위치로 이동시키는 구동제어수단을 갖는 디스크 장치에 있어서, 상기 디스크매체는 상기 헤드의 위치결정 정밀도로 정해지는 트랙피치를 최대로 하고, 반경방향으로 트랙의 기록영역폭을 변화시켜서 포매팅되는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스크장치.
- 서보정보가 기록된 트랙이 반경방향으로 트랙피치를 변화시켜서 포매팅된 디스크매체와, 기록용헤드소자 및 재생용헤드소자가 상기 디스크매체의 트랙 긴쪽방향으로 소정 갭으로 병설된 헤드와, 상기 디스크매체의 트랙피치에 응한 트랙밀도정보를 저장하는 저장수단과, 상기 디스크매체의 각 트랙으로부터 상기 헤드로 판독된 상기 서보정보, 및 상기 저장수단으로부터의 단위 트랙수정보로부터 상기 헤드의 위치를 산출하여 시크제어신호를 생성하는 처리수단과, 상기 처리수단으로부터의 시크제어신호에 의해 상기 헤드를 상기 디스크매체의 반경방향으로 요동시켜서 소정위치에 이동시키는 구동제어수단을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스크장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 디스크매체의 트랙의 트랙피치는 반경방향의 중앙근방에 걸쳐 조밀상태로 포매팅되는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스크장치.
- 제2항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 상기 디스크매체에 포매팅되는 트랙피치는 상기 헤드의 상기 갭과, 상기 헤드가 위치하는 상기 트랙과의 교차각도의 최소부분에서 최대밀도로 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스크장치.
- 제2항∼제4항중의 어느 1항에 있어서, 상기 디스크매체에 포매팅되는 트랙피치는 반경방향의 상기 교차각도의 최소부분에 걸쳐 순차적으로 조밀상태로 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스크장치.
- 제2항∼제4항중의 어느 1항에 있어서, 상기 디스크매체에 포매팅되는 트랙피치는 반경방향의 상기 교차각도의 최소부분에 걸쳐 소정영역마다 조밀상태로 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스크장치.
- 기록용헤드소자 및 이 기록용헤드소자로부터 디스크매체의 트랙폭 방향으로 폭이 좁은 재생용헤드소자가 이 디스크매체의 트랙 긴쪽방향으로 소정 갭으로 병설된 헤드를 회동구동제어수단에 의해 이 디스크매체의 반경방향으로 요동시켜서 이동시키는 디스크장치에 사용되는 디스크매체의 포맷 작성방법에 있어서, 상기 헤드의 상기 갭과 이 헤드가 위치하는 상기 디스크매체의 트랙과의 교차각도의 최소부분에서 소정 트랙에 이 헤드가 위치했을 때의 상기 기록용헤드소자의 단면으로부터 인접 트랙에 이 헤드가 위치했을 때의 상기 재생용헤드소자의 단면까지의 거리를 최소 트랙피치로 하고, 상기 헤드의 위치결정 정밀도로 정해지는 필요충분한 트랙피치를 최대 트랙피치로 한 범위내에서 상기 교차각도에 응한 상기 디스크매체의 반경방향의 각 위치에서의 그 거리를 각각 트랙피치로 하는 트랙피치량을 산출하는 스텝과, 상기 산출한 각각의 트랙피치량에 의해 상기 디스크매체를 포매팅하는 스텝을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스크매체의 포맷 작성방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
