Abstract

별도의 가열 시스템과 결합된 파이프 또는 중합체 케이싱내의 구멍은 받침층(2), 패치를 파이프 또는 케이싱에 고정시키기 위한 가열 활성 접착층(4)및 전기적 가열층(4)을 포함하는 중합체 패치에 의해 실링된다. 다른 부가적인 중합체 층(8)은 기판 자체가 중합체가 아닐때 받침층(2)으로부터 떨어진 재치내에 포함될 수 있다. 층들은 분리될 수 있거나 하나의 층이 하나이상의 기능을 수행한다. 수단(제5도)은 본 발명에 따른 패치 및 방법을 사용할 때 구멍의 실링을 증가시키기도 한다.

구멍을 커버하기 위한 전기적 접착층(ELECTRICALLY BONDABLE LAYER TO COVER AN OPENING)

제1도는 본 발명에 따른 방법에 사용가능한 패치를 통한 단면적,

제4도는 제1도 내지 3도의 패치에 의해 커버되는 구멍을 포함하는 포움 충전 케이싱을 나타내는 단면도,
제5도는 제4도의 케이싱에서 제1도 내지 3도의 패치를 설치하기 위한 설비 수단의 측면도.

Claims (10)

  1. (a)(i)받침층, (ii)열-활성화 접착층, (iii)전기 가열층, 및 ,(iv)받침층으로부터 떨어져 위치한 부가적인 중합체층을 포함하는 층상 중합체 패치를 중합체 기판내의 구멍위에 위치시켜, 다른 부가적인 중합체층이 기판내의 구멍내에 놓이고, 접착층의 최소한 일부가 기판의 표면파 접촉하게 하는 단계, (b)접착층을 기판에 접착하도록 가열시키기에 충분한 시간 및 전력 밀도에서 전기적 가열층에 전류를 통하게 하는 단계를 포함하는 파이프 또는 케이싱과 같은 중합체, 바람직하게는 관형 기판내의 구멍을 커버하는 방법.
  2. (a)짧게 절삭된 절연체를 연결하는 파이프 노출부 주위의 유체공급 구멍을 포함하는 중합체 케이싱을 위치시키고 파이프 절연체에 케이싱의 단부를 실링하는 단계, (b)케이싱내에 위치한 후 고화되는 유동성 조성물로 유체 진입구멍을 통해 케이싱을 채우는 단계, (c)구멍을 커버하고 구멍주위의 영역을 오버랩하며, 접착층이 케이싱에 인접하게 놓이도록 유체 도입 구멍위에 받침층, 가열활성화 접착층 및 전기적으로 가열가능한 층을 포함하는 층상 중합체 패치를 위치시키는 단계, (d)가열하여, 케이싱에 가용성 층을 결합시키도록 전기 가열층에 전류를 통하게 하는 단계를 포함하는 단계를 포함하며, 각각이 접합의 단부가되는 두개의 절연 파이프 사이의 접합을 실링하는 방법.
  3. 중합체 기판내의 개구를 커버하기 위하여, 중합체 받침층, 가열활성 접작층, 전기적 가열층 및 부가적인 중합체 층을 포함하는 층상 중합체 패치를 사용하는 방법에 있어, 다른 중합체층이 기판내의 구멍에 맞추어, 바람직하게는 밀착하여 맞추어지도록 형상 및 크기가 정해지는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  4. (a)중합체 받침층 및 (b)가용성 전기 전도성이며, 받침충의 최소한 에지부분에서 뒤로 돌출되며, 받침층 두께의 1/2미만, 바람직하게는 1/4미만인 전도성 중합체 층, 및(c)받침충으로부터 떨어진 전도성 중합체 층의 표면에 위치하며, 전도성 층보다 더 작은 바람직하게는 다른 부가적인 층을 포함하는 상기 항들 중 어느 한 항에 따른 방법에 사용하기에 적합한 층상 중합체 패치.
  5. (a)개구를 커버하고 접착층이 기판과 접촉하도록 패치를 위치시키는 단계, (b)지지체가 패치위에 놓이고, 두개의 전극이 전기적 가열층과 전기 접촉하도록 패치위에 지지체, 두개의 전극 및 고정부재를 위치시키는 단계, (c)패치에 대하여 지지체와 전극을 고정시키는 고정부재를 배치하는 단계, 및 (d)기판에 패치의 접착층을 결합시키도록 전기적 가열층을 통해 전극에 전기를 통하게 하는 단계를 포함하는 중합체 기판내의 구멍위에 받침층, 전기적 가열층 및 가열활성 접작층을 포함하는 패치를 설치하는 방법.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 수단이 그 내향면에 하나이상의 제1안성 접촉을 제공하고, 패치가 그 외향면에 하나이상의 제2안정 접촉을 제공하여, 고정부재의 고정이 제1및 제2안정 접촉 사이에 일으키며, 이러한 접촉이 없을때, 수단의 전극에 전력이 공급되지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  7. (a)세로방향 슬릿 중합체 실린더 케이싱 및, (b)전기적 가열층 및 가열 활성 접작층을 포함하며, 슬릿을 커버 하도록 케이싱에 접촉가능하며 케이싱내 슬릿위에 위치하는 연장 패치를 포함하며, 별개의 가열 접합에 사용하기에 적합하게 밀폐단면의 실질적으로 원통형 케이싱을 형성하기 위한 장치.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 연장 패치가 받침층을 포함하며, 전기적 가열충이 전극을 수반하는 수단이 전기적 가열층의 노출부와 전기 접촉할 수 있도록 받침충의 에지뒤로 돌출되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  9. 제7항 또는 8항에 있어서, 전기 가열층 및 가열 활성 접착층이 단일 전도성 중합체충에 의해 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  10. 상기 항들 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 패치가 중합체 기판내의 구멍을 통해 유체의 제어된 출입을 가능하게 하기 위하여, 밸브, 바람직하게는 압력 출입 밸브를 제공하거나 수용하기에 적합한 것을 특징으로 하는 방법 또는 장치.
