Claims (7)
- 퍼널(22 : a funnel)과 일치시키게 되어 있는 주변밀봉부위(21 : a peripheral sealing area)로 둘러싸인 내면(17)상에서 중앙에 배치된 인스크린 (20 : a centrally disposed phosphor screen)을 갖는 거의 평평한 면판(16 : substantially flat faceplate) 및, 상기 면판(16)의 상기 내면(17)상으로부터의 소정의 거리(41 : a predetermined distance)에서 포일형 섀도우마스크(35 : a foil shadow mask)를 인장하에 지지하여 유지하기 위해 상기 밀봉부위(21)와 상기 스크린(20)의 사이에서 상기 내면(17)에 대해 부착된 프레임수단(34 : frame means)을 포함하고, 상기 섀도우마스크(35)는 천공된 중앙부위(a central apertured area) 및 상기 프레임수단(34)에 대해 부착된 주변부위를 갖게 구성된 음극선관(12 : a cathode ray tube)을 위한 전방조립체(15 : a front assembly)에 있어서, 상기 프레임수단(34)이 적어도 부분적으로는 용접이 가능한 금속으로 제조되어 상기 섀도우마스크(35)가 거기에 대해 용접될 수 있게 구성되고, 또한 상기 프레임수단(34)은 상기 음극선관(12)에서의 상기 섀도우마스크(35)의 상기 스크린(20)쪽에 오나전히 배치되게 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 음극선관용 전방조립체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 프레임수단(34)이 상기 면판(16)의 상기 내면(17)에 대해 부착된 불연속적인, 즉, 분절된 금속프레임(64 :a discontinuous or segmented metal frame)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 음극선관용 전방조립체.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 프레임수단이 중실의 둥근 단면(a solid round cross-section)을 갖는 프레임수단(84)이거나 삼각형 단면(a triangular cross-section)을 갖는 프레임수단(74)인 것을 특징으로 하는 음극선관용 전방조립체.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 프레임수단이 거의 사각형 단면(a substantially rectangular cross-section)을 갖는 프레임수단(90)이거나 사다리꼴 단면(a trapezoidal cross-section)을 갖는 프레임수단(86)인 것을 특징으로 하는 음극선관용 전방조립체.
- 스핀도포과정(the spin-application process)에서 공정피막물질(process coating materials)을 수용(receiving)하기 위해 내면상에서 중앙에 배치된 스크린부위(458 : a centrally disposed screen area)를 갖는 면판(a faceplate)을 포함하고, 섀도우마스크지지구조(a shadow mask support structure)를 갖는 칼라음극선관(a color cathode ray tube)을 위한 전방조립체(a front assembly)에 있어서, 상기 섀도우마스크지지구조(460)가 포일형 섀도우마스크(a foil shadow mask)를 수용해서 고정시키기 위한 제1면(462 : a first surface) 및 상기 스핀도포 과정에서 도포되는 피막물질의 과잉량을 상기 스크린부위로부터 안내할 수 있도록 상기 제1면(462)으로부터 상기 스크린부위(458) 쪽으로 경사져 있는 제2면(464 : a second surface)을 가짐으로써, 시청자에게 보일 정도의 인도포의 불연속성(discontinuities in phosphor application)이 생기는 것을 방지하고, 또한, 인의 미부착에 따른 씻겨 나감(wash-off)이나 벗겨져 나감(flake-off)을 방지하게 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 칼라음극선관용 전방조립체.
- 퍼널(a funnel)과 일치시키게 되어 있는 주변밀봉부위(a peripheral sealing area) 및 내면상에서 중앙에 배치된 인스크린(a centrally disposed phosphor screen)을 갖는 면판(a faceplate) 및 프레임수단(548 : a frame means)을 포함하는 칼라음극선관(a color cathode ray tube)을 위한 전방조립체(a front assembly)에 있어서, 상기 프레임수단(548)이 상기 스크린으로부터의 소정의 거리(a predetermined distance)에 포일형 섀도우마스크(a foil shadow mask)를 인장하에 수용하여 지지하기 위해 상기 밀봉부위와 상기 스크린의 사이에서의 상기 스크린(528)의 양쪽에서 상기 내면에 대해 부착되는 세라믹으로 된 4개의 분리된 레일(546A 내지 548D : four discrete rails) 및 거의 사각형이고 일체형인 섀도우마스크지지구조(a generally rectangular unitary shadow mask support structure)를 형성하기 위해 상기 분리된 레일 들을 서로 연결하기 위한 연결수단(580 : interconnecting means)을 포함하고, 상기 연결수단(580)은 용접에 의해 상기 섀도우마스크(550)를 수용하여 고정시키기 위해 상기 레일들의 각각의 위에 겹쳐지는 연속적이거나 또는 불연속적이고 용접이 가능한 금속캡(580 : a continuous or discontinuous weldable metal cap)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 칼라음극선관용 전방조립체.
