Claims (6)
- 배기 개스의 재순환 및 재순환된 배기 개스의 계층화를 채용하며, 공기를 실린더내로 흡입하는 흡입 밸브와 공조하는 최소한 하나의 흡입구와 연통되며 피스톤을 수용하는 초소한 하나의 실린더 및 배기 개스를 실린더로부터 배출시키는 배기 밸브와 공조하는 최소한 하나의 배기구를 지니고, 재순환된 배기 개스는 엔진 작동 시간의 일부분동안 흡입구(11)를 통해 실린더(2)내로 단독으로 흡입되는 것을 특징으로 하는 스파크 점화 엔진.
- 제1항에 있어서, 연료를 흡입구(11)내로 도입시키도록 배치된 연료 공급 수단(16), 배기구(9)를 흡입구(11)로 연결시키는 배기 개스 재순환관(10) 및 배기 개스 재순환관(10)과 흡입구의 접합점에 위치하며, 최소한 저부하에서 각각의 피스톤 흡기 행정의 최초 부분 동안에는 배기 개스 재순환관(10)에연결되며 각각의 피스톤 흡기행정의 차후 부분동안에는 대기중에 연결되도록 제어되는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진.
- 제1항에 있어서, 연료를 흡입구(11)내로 도입하도록 배치된 연료 공급 수단(16) 및, 흡입 밸브(3)를 작동시키도록 연결되었으며, 최소한 엔진의 저부하에서, 각각의 피스톤의 배기 행정이 끝나기 이전에 흡기 밸브(3)를 개방하도록 제어됨으로써 배기 개스가 흡기구(11)내로 유동하고 이후에 피스톤(32)d의 각각의 흡기 행정의 시초에는 실린더내로 유동하도록 하는 가변 밸브 타이밍 메커니즘(30)에 의해 특징지워지는 엔진.
- 제2항 또는 3항에 있어서, 흡기 밸브(4)와 공조하며 엔진의 고부하에서 공기를 실린더내로 들어가도록 하지만 엔진의 저부하에서는 공기의 흡입을 허용하지 않도록 제어되는 제2의 흡입구(12)에 의해 특징지워지는 엔진.
- 제1항에 있어서, 흡기 밸브(4)와 공조하는 제2의 흡기구(12), 연료를 제2의 흡입구(12)로 도입하도록 배치된 연료 공급 수단(16), 배기구(9)를 흡기구(11)에 연결시키는 배기 개스 순환관(10) 및, 배기 개스 재순환관(10)과 흡기구(11)의 접합점에 위피하여 최소한 엔진의 저부하에서 흡기구(11)가 배기 개스 재순환관(10)에 연결되고, 엔진의 고부하에서 흡기구(11)가 대기중에 연결되도록 제어되는 디버터 밸브(diverter valve,15)에 의해 특징지워지며, 흡기구(11,12)는 텀블링(tumbling) 형상이어서 그를 통하여 유동하는 개스는 실린더 축에 거의 직각인 축에 관해서 실린더의 개별적인 부분내에서 소용돌이치는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진.
- 제5항에 있어서, 엔진의 부하가 증가함에 따라서 흡기구를 통해 유동하는 공기의 체적이 점진적으로 증가하는 것을 허용하도록 제어되는 제2의 흡입구를 제어하는 밸브 수단(18)에 의해 특징지워지는 엔진.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
