Abstract

본 발명의 현상장치(13)는 현상롤러(31)의 양단과 장치케이싱(21)의 내벽의 현상롤러(31)의 양단부에 대향하는 위치와의 사이에 시일부재(60)를 고정 배치한다. 시일부재(60)는 현상롤러(31)와의 마찰에 의해서 토너의 대전극성과 동일극성으로 대전하는 재질로 된다.
이 현상장치(13)에 의하면 토너는 시일부재(60)에 의해서 저지되어 현상롤러(31)의 단부에 침입하지 않는다.

Claims (15)

  1. 마찰에 의해서 소정극성으로 대전되기 쉬운 토너를 사용하여 감광체(11)의 표면에 형성된 정전잠상의 현상을 행하는 현상장치(13)에 있어서, 상기 토너규제부재 (32)에 대해서 상기 현상롤러(31)의 상류측이고, 상기 현상롤러(31)의 단부에 있어서의 외주면에 대향하는 내벽(21a)을 갖는 케이싱(21)과, 상기 현상롤러(31)의 단부에 있어서의 둘레면과 상기 케이스(21)의 내벽(21a)과의 사이에 설비되는 시일부재(60,61,62,63,64,65,66,67)를 갖는 현상장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 시일부재(60,62,63,64)는 상기 현상롤러(31)에 접촉되어 설비되고, 상기 현상롤러(31)와의 마찰에 의해서 상기 소정극성으로 대전하는 재질로 되는 현상장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 시일부재(61,65,66,67)는 표면에 모상체가 형성되어 있는 현상장치.
  4. 1항에 있어서, 상기 시일부재(60,61,62,63,64,65,66,67)가 상기 케이싱(21)에 접촉되어 설비되는 현상장치.
  5. 제1항에 있어서. 상기 케이싱(21)이 토너를 수용하기 위한 것인 현상장치.
  6. 현상롤러(31)와 토너 규제부재(32)로 토너를 소정극성으로 대전하고, 대전된 토너를 사용하여 감광체(11)의 표면에 형성된 정전잠상의 현상을 행하는 현상장치(13)에 있어서, 상기 토너규제부재(32)에 대해서 현상를러(31)의 상류측에 위치하고, 상기 현상롤러(31)의 단부에 있어서의 외주면에 대향하는 내벽(21a)을 갖는 케이싱(21)과, 상기 현상롤러(31)의 단부에 있어서의 둘레면과 상기 케이싱(21)의 내벽(21a)과의 사이에 설치되는 제1시일부재(60,61,62,62,65,66)와 상기 현상롤러 (31)의 양단부를 제외한 부분에 걸쳐서 연장되는 토너규제부재(32)를 지지하는 지지부재(36)와. 상기 지지부재(36)와 상기 현상롤러(31)와의 사이에 설비되는 제2시일부재(64,67)를 갖는 현상장치.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 제2시일부재(64,67)가 상기 토너 규제부재(32)가 연장되는 방향에 대해서 상기 현상롤러(31)의 하류측에 위치하는 현상장치.
  8. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 제2시일부재(64,67)가 상기 지지부재(36)에 부착되어 있는 현상장치.
  9. 제6항에 있어서, 제2시일부재(64, 67)가 상기 제1시일부재(60,61,62,63,65,66)와 별개체인 현상장치.
  10. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 제2시일부재(64,67)가 상기 제1시일부재(60,61,62,63,65,66)와 일체인 현상장치.
  11. 토너를 사용하여 감광체(11)의 표면에 형성된 정전잠상의 현상을 행하는 현상장치 (13)에 있어서, 상기 토너를 담지하고 반송하여 상기 감광체(11)의 표면에 접촉시키기 위한 현상롤러(31)와, 상기 현상롤러(31)에 맞닿아 배치되고, 상기 현상롤러 (31)에 담지되어 반송되는 토너의 양을 규제하는 동시에 토너를 마찰대전시키는 토너규제부재(13)와 상기 토너규제부재(12)를 상기 현상롤러(31)에 대해서 접근, 이간시키는 방향으로 직선이동만 가능하게 지지하기 위한 지지수단(70,71)을 포함하는 현상장치.
  12. 토너를 사용하여 감광체(11)의 표면에 형성된 정전잠상의 현상을 행하는 현상장치 (13)에 있어서, 상기 토너를 수용하는 케이싱(21)과 상기 토너를 소정의 토너담지가능 영역에 담지하고 반송하여 상기 감광체(11)의 표면에 접촉시키기 위한 현상롤러(31)와, 상기 현상롤러(31)의 상기 토너의 담지가능영역의 폭보다 짧고, 상기 케이싱(21)에 수용된 상기 토너를 담지하고, 반송하여 상기 현상롤러(31)로 공급하는 공급롤러(30)를 포함하는 현상장치.
  13. 토너를 사용하여 감광체(11)의 표면에 형성된 정전잠상의 현상을 행하는 현상장치 (13)에 있어서, 상기 토너를 수용하는 케이싱(21)과, 상기 토너를 소정의 담지가능영역에 담지하고 반송하여 상기 감광체(11)의 표면에 접촉시키기 위한 현상롤러 (31)와, 상기 현상롤러(31)의 상기 토너담지가능영역의 폭에 대등하는 길이를 갖고, 상기 감광체(11)의 표면에 접촉된 후에 상기 현상롤러(31)에 담지된 채로, 상기 케이싱(21)으로 되돌아온 토너를 받아들이는 토너받이부재(33)를 포함하는 현상장치.
  14. 감광체(11)의 표면에 부착된 토너를 제거하는 클리닝장치(14)에 있어서, 상기 감광체(11)의 표면에서 제거된 토너를 수용하기 위한 토너수용용기(40)와, 상기 토너수용용기(40)에 고정되고, 상기 감광체(11)의 표면에 맞닿아 설비된 토너긁어내리기 부재(39)와, 상기 토너수용용기(40)에 고정되고 상기 토너 긁어내리기 부재(39)에 의해서 상기 감광체(11)의 표면에서 긁어내린 토너를 받아 이 토너를 상기 토너수용용기(40)로 인도하는 토너 받이부재(43)와, 상기 토너수용용기(40)에 부착되고, 상기 토너수용용기(40)와 상기 토너 긁어내리기부재(39)와의 사이의 간극을 시일링하는 제1시일부재(80)와, 상기 토너수용용기(40)에 접착되고, 상기 토너수용용기 (40)와 상기 토너받이부재(4)와의 사이의 간극을 시일링하는 제2시일부재(81)를 포함하는 클리닝장치.
  15. 제14항에 있어서, 상기 제2시일부재(81)는 상기 감광체(11)의 표면에 접촉되는 제1부위와 토너수용기에 부착되는 제2부위를 갖고, 상기 제2부위에 있어서의 상기 토너수용용기(40)로의 부착길이의 쪽이 상기 제1부위에 있어서의 상기 토너수용용기 (40)로의 접착길이 보다도 긴 클리닝장치.
