Description
Claims (12)
- 유리제품을 가열된 상태로 제1 및 제2의 연속적인 처리 공정을 거쳐 연속적으로 이송시키며, 적어도 상기 제1처리 공정이 밀폐공간내에서 행해지는 단계와; 상기 제1처리 공정이 행해지는 밀폐공간내를 비산화성 분위기로 유지시키는 단계와; 상기 제2처리 공정이 행해지는 위치 및 인접한 유리 주위를 산화성 분위기로 유지시키는 단계와; 유리표면에 실리콘 코팅부를 형성하기 위하여 상기 제1처리 공정이 행해지는 위치로부터 유리표면으로 실란을 포함하는 비산화성 매체를 보내는 단계와; 상기 제2처리 공정이 행해지는 위치로부터 유리제품의 코팅된 표면으로 금속화합물을 포함하는 산화성 매체를 보내는 단계와; 실란을 포함하는 매체가 유리표면에 반사 실리콘 코팅부를 형성하고, 금속을 포함하는 산화성 매체가 금속산화물의 코팅부를 형성하며, 유리제품이 상기 제2처리 공정이 행해지는 위치에 도달하기전의 산화가 금속산화물층의 핀홀이 없을 정도의 충분한 두께를 갖는 실리콘부위에 실리콘 산화물층을 형성하도록, 유리제품의 온도와, 제2처리 공정이 행해지는 위치의 산화성 분위기내에 머무르는 시간과, 제1처리 공정이 행해지는 위치의 비산화성 매체의 조성비와, 제2처리 공정이 행해지는 위치의 산화성 매체의 조성비를 제어하는 단계로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 코팅된 유리제품을 제조하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 방법이 연속적인 화학증착(CVD) 방법이며, 상기 비산화성 매체가 비산화성 가스이며, 상기 산화성 매체가 산화성 가스인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 실란을 포함하는 상기 비산화성 가스가 불포화된 탄화수소를 실리콘 코팅부에 내알카리성을 부여할 수 있을 정도로 추가적으로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,유리제품이 충분히 낮은 온도까지 냉각된 후 희석된 불화수소산으로 유리제품위의 코팅부를 세척하는 공정과; 유리제품 또는 그 위의 코팅부에 결함이 발생되지 않고, 뒤따르는 템퍼링 과정에서 코팅 유리제품위에서의 막의 형성이 방지되도록, 세척시의 유리의 온도와, 세척 공정의 지속시간과, 불화수소산의 농도를 제어하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 세척 공정동안 불화수소산을 교반하는 공정을 더 포함하며, 상기 세척 공정의 지속시간이 4 내지 10초이며 상기 불화수소산의 농도가 2 내지 10중량%인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 금속화합물을 포함하는 상기 산화성 가스가 99체적%의 공기와, 1체적%의 테트라메틸주석으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 유리표면의 온도가 실란을 포함하는 비산화성 가스로 처리될 때는 최소 1100℉이며, 금속화합물을 포함하는 산화성 가스로 처리될 때는 최소 750℉인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2처리 공정이 행해지는 위치의 산화성 분위기내에 머무르는 시간이 실리콘 코팅부위에 20 내지 50Å의 두께를 갖는 실리콘 산화물 코팅부를 형성하기에 충분하며, 상기 산화성 가스의 처리가 970±20℉의 온도에서 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2처리 공정이 행해지는 위치의 산화성 분위기내에 머무르는 시간이 60 내지 90Å의 실리콘 산화물 코팅부를 형성하기에 충분하며, 상기 산화성 가스의 처리가 1170℉의 온도에서 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 유리가 청동빛을 내는 열흡수 혼합물을 포함하며, 코팅된 유리제품이 0.45 내지 0.55의 차광계수를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 유리모재(母材)와, 상기 유리모재의 표면에 접착된 반사실리콘 코팅부와, 상기 유리모재에 접착된 실리콘 코팅부의 맞은편 표면 근처의 실리콘 산화물층과, 상기 실리콘 산화물층에 접착된 금속산화물 코팅부를 포함하며, 상기 실리콘 산화물층은 금속산화물층이 핀홀이 없을 정도로 충분히 두꺼운 것을 특징으로 하는 코팅된 유리제품.
- 제11항에 있어서, 적어도 유리제품의 코팅부가 그 위에 어떠한 막을 형성함이 없이 유리제품을 템퍼링할 수 있도록 산 세척 공정에 놓이게 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 코팅된 유리제품.
