Claims (6)
- 전방 연부 및 후방연부를 갖는 직립한 선도 에어로포일(1), 전방 연부 및 상기 선도 에어로포일의 후방 연부직후에 위치한 후방 연부를 갖는 직립한 후속 에어로포일 (2), 및 상기 후속 에어로포일(2)이 선도 에어로포일(1)과 동일평면에 정렬되는 정렬위치로 부터 선도 에어로포일(1)의 양 측부 및 상기 정열위치로 부터 선도 에어로포일 (1)의 양 측부 및 상기 정렬위치로 부터 경사지게 편향된 추력위치까지 상기 선도 에어로포일(2)을 상기 선도 에어로포일(2)을 장착하는 수단을 각각 포함하는 병렬배치된 한쌍의 추력날개들로 구성된 날개형돛 장치에 있어서, 상기 추력날개들의 후속 에어로포일(2)들은, 선도 에어로포일(1)에 대해 일체로 피보트될때 후속 에어로포일이 풍하측(leaward)에서 더 큰 편향각으로 이동되어 실속의 유지를 돕도록 초기 수렴각을 지니는 것을 특징으로 하는 날개형돛 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 추력날개쌍에 대해 대칭적으로 배치된 적어도 하나의 추가 추력날개를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 날개형돛 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 후속 에어로포일쌍들이 다른 초기수렴각도를 지녀 더 깊은 실속으로 풍하측 이동을 유지할 수 있는 적어도 4개의 추력날개들을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 날개형돛 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 각각의 선도 에어로포일의 후방연부에는 상기 선도 에어로포일과 후속 에어로포일 사이의 간격을 지나 연장되는 피보트가능한 슬랫(slat)이 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 날개형돛 장치.
- 전방연부 및 후방연부를 갖는 직립한 선도 에어로포일(1), 전방연부 및 상기 선도 에어로포일의 후방연부 직후에 위치한 후방연부를 갖는 직립한 후속 에어로포일(2), 및 상기 후속 에어로포일(2)이 선도 에어로포일(1)과 동일평면에 정렬되는 정렬위치로 부터 선도 에어로포일(1)의 양 측부 및 상기 정렬위치로 부터 경사지게 편향된 추력위치까지 상기 후속 에어로포일(2)을 상기 선도 에어로포일(1)에 대해 직립축을 중심으로 피보트 이동시킬 수 있도록 상기 후속 에어로포일(2)을 장착하는 수단을 각각 포함하는 병렬배치된 한쌍의 추력날개들로 구성된 날개형돛 장치를 실속(stalling) 시키는 방법에 있어서, 더큰 풍하측의 후속 에어로포일을 더 일찍 실속시키도록 더 큰 풍하측에 있는 후속 에어로포일을 다른 에어로포일보다 더 크게 편향시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 날개형돛 장치를 실속시키는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 날개형돛은 자동조정(self-trimming)되며, 상기 추력날개들은 말단 에어로포일(6)에 의해 회전되는 것을 특징으로 하는 날개형돛 장치.
