Abstract

본 발명의 과응력 방지 시스템은 하우징의 외측에 메이팅 표면(20)을 갖는 공동과 교통하는 슬롯(18)을 갖는 접촉부 수용 공동(16)을 갖는 유전체 하우징(12)를 포함하는 전기 커넥터를 제공한다. 접촉부(14)는 공동에 수용되고 슬롯에 부착된 캔틸레버 스프링 접촉 아암(26)을 포함한다. 아암은 메이팅 커넥터(64)의 상보 접촉부(62)와 결합하기 위해 하우징의 메이팅 표면에서 하향 돌출된 접촉 부분(30)을 갖는다. 스프링 접촉 아암은 상보 접촉부에 의한 접촉 부분을 결합시킬때, 슬롯 내에서 굴곡된다. 과응력 방지 시스템은 접촉부와 하우징 사이에 제공되고, 소정 굴곡량의 스프링 접촉 아암(26) 후의 슬롯(18)의 대향측내에 형성된 한 쌍의 레즈(22)와 결합가능한 스프링 접촉 아암의 대향측으로부터 돌출된 한 쌍의 윙(48)을 포함한다.

제1도는 본 발명의 원리를 이용하는 전기 케넥터의 사시도, 제2도는 커넥터 하우징으로부터 분리된 하나의 접촉부를 갖는 커넥터의 분해 사시도, 제3도는 하우징 내의 접촉부 수용 공동 중 하나의 공동을 상세하게 설명하기위해 제2도에 도시된 것과 다소 유사한 커넥터를 도시한 사시도, 제4도는 휴대용 전화기의 기부 모듈에 장착된 전기 커넥터를 도시한 개략도.

Claims (8)

  1. 하우징의 메이팅 표면을 갖는 공동과 교통하는 슬롯으로 이루어진 접촉부 수용 공동을 갖는 유전체 하우징 및 슬롯 내에 배치되어 상보 접촉부에 의한 접촉 부분의 결합시에 슬롯을 휘게 하는 캔틸레버 스프링 접촉 아암을 갖는 공동 내에 수용되고, 메이팅 커넥터의 상보 접촉부와 결합하기 위해 메이팅 표면에서 하향 돌출된 접촉 부분을 갖는 접촉부를 포함하는 전기 커넥터에 있어서, 스프링 접촉 아암의 외부로 연장된 하나 이상의 돌출부를 포함하는 하우징과 접촉부 사이의 과응력 방지 수단 및 소정량의 가요성 스프링 접촉 아암 다음의 돌출부를 접합시키기 위한 하우징상의 정지면 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 정지면 수단이 상기 슬롯 측의 레즈를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 돌출부가 스프링 접촉 아암의 대향측으로부터 돌출되는 한 쌍의 윙들 중 하나를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 정지면 수단이 상기 슬롯의 대향측 내의 한 쌍의 레즈를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, Ｕ자형의 한 러그 및 하우징 내의 공동에 고정된 접축부 기부를 정하는 다른 러그에 의해 정해지는 스프링 접촉 아암으로 이루어진 상기 접촉부가 Ｕ자형인 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 접촉부의 접촉 부분이 아암의 단부들의 중앙 만곡 마루 부분에 의해 정해지는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 돌출부가 만곡 마루 부분과 스프링 접촉 아암의 접합부 및 Ｕ자형 접촉부의 다른 러그 사이에 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 스프링 접촉 아암의 말단 단부가 접촉부에 예비 적재시키기 위하여 부분적으로 굴곡된 상태에서 스프링 아암을 하우징의 견부 밑에 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
