Abstract

방향족 폴리에스테르들의 용융강도 및 용융점도는 방향족 폴리에스테르들 내에 매우 쉽게 분산되는 특정 고분자량 비닐 방향족 조절제들을 소량 첨가함에 의하여 증가된다.
본 발명은 방향족 폴리에스테르 용융강도 향상제로서 유용한, (A) 60-90wt%의 비닐방향족 단량체; (B) 0.1∼40wt%의 히드록시 알킬(메트)아크릴레이트 또는 에폭시알킬(메트)아크릴레이트; 및 (C) 0-25wt%의 알킬(메트)아크릴레이트로 구성되며 약 1,000,000 내지 4,000,000의 분자량을 갖는 공중합체 조성물에 관한 것이다.

Claims (11)

  1. 방향족 폴리에스테르 용융강도 향상제로서 유용한, (A) 60-99wt%의 비닐방향족 단량체; (B) 0.1∼40wt%의 히드록시 알킬(메트)아크릴레이트 또는 에폭시알킬(메트)아크릴레이트; 및 (C) 0-25wt%의 알킬(메트)아크릴레이트로 구성되며 약 1,000,000-4,000,000의 분자량을 갖는 공중합체 조성물.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 비닐 방향족 단량체가 스트렌, 파라-메틸스티렌, 클로로스티렌, 비닐톨루엔, 디브로모스티렌, 트리브로모스티렌, 또는 비닐나프탈렌인 조성물.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 히드록시알킬(메트)아크릴레이트 또는 에폭시알킬(메트)아크릴레이트가 히드록시에틸(메트)아크릴레이트, 히드록시프로필(메트)아크릴레이트 또는 글리시딜(메트)아크릴레이트인 조성물.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 알킬(메트)아크릴레이트가 C1-C4알킬(메트)아크릴레이트인 조성물.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 굴절율이 1.55-1.58인 조성물.
  6. 제2항에 있어서, 60-99wt%의 스티렌, 및 1.0-40wt%의 히드록시에틸 메타크릴레이트 또는 히드록시프로필 메타크릴레이트를 함유하는 조성물.
  7. (a) 70-99wt%의 방향족 폴리에스테르 또는 혼성폴리에스테르, 및 (b) 1-30wt%의 청구범위 제1항의 조성물을 함유하는 중합체 혼합물.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 1-40wt%의 하나이상인 통상적인 부가제들을 함유하는 혼합물.
  9. 제7항에 있어서, 방향족 폴리에스테르가 폴리(알킬렌 테레프탈레이트), 폴리(알킬렌 나프탈렌 디카르복실레이트), 또는 최소한 하나의 지방족 디올이나 고리지방족 디올 또는 지방족 디올과 고리지방족 디올의 혼합물 및 최소한 하나의 이가산으로부터 유도된 단위들을 함유하는 방향족 폴리에스테르인 혼합물.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 폴리(알킬렌 테레프탈레이트)가 폴리에틸렌 테레프탈레이트, 되는 에틸렌 글리콜, 시클로헥산 디메탄올, 이소프탈산으로부터 유도된 단위들을 포함하는 방향족 혼성 폴리에스테르인 혼합물.
  11. 제7항에 있어서, 방향족 폴리에스테르 또는 혼성 폴리에스테르가 0.7dl/g 이상의 고유점도를 갖는 것인 혼합물.
